Welcome New Client Jody Donaldson



John: How did you hear about us?

Jody: I’ve been following you guys for over a year now. I first saw a Realtor who was using your business where we vacation every year in the Jersey Shore, Jeff Quinton. I ended up calling a couple of your other clients to see how this was working for them because I've seen all of the testimonials and how things work for the other agents. Everybody just said they loved you guys, loved working with you guys and loved the system and made it easy for them.

John: Is that what motivated you to get in touch with us then? Just talking to our clients?

Jody: Yeah. After talking with them it solidified what I was thinking already - the system you provide, the marketing for the database. I was currently using a system already to reach out to my database and having good results with just my database, but implementing the videos and the educational pieces to help my footprint in my market - I just felt like the time was right.

John: Why don’t you tell us where you’re at with your business right now and what are your goals going forward?

Jody: I was a dual-career agent for many years, and I just actually, almost two years ago, went full-time again with the business, so I am still newer and building my business and I’ve had a great first year. My goals with bringing this in is I think I could easily double my business from last year and maybe even be a little more aggressive than that and go for more than that. I think implementing Vyral into my marketing plan is going to catapult me quicker than if I continue doing those things that I am trying to do on my own.

John: Do you know how many people you have in your database?

Jody: Right now I have just about 1,000 people in my database. Some of them will be duplicates with my Facebook and LinkedIn contacts but just about 1,000.

John: Ok. How many of those people do you truly know?

Jody: Well, fortunately I am from the area that I work in, I grew up here, so I know every single person in my database personally at some point or on some level. It’s hard to reach out to that many people individually and make that personal contact, but everybody in my database I have had a relationship with or have a relationship with whether friend or client.

John: Great. Are you doing anything to market to that database now?

Jody: I am. I currently use another system to generate referral business with my marketing to reach out to them. I don’t know if I’m going to continue with that. I have had good results from it. The database is where it’s at. If this is what I can get my business from and not have to newly generate cold calling or any of that, I feel like it serves you well, and I’d rather have my business come from that.

John: It seems like you've been following us for a little while now, and you know what we are doing. Have you ever thought about trying to do this yourself?

Jody: It’s funny you ask that because yes I have and yes I have tried it myself. In my prior career I did have some video editing experience and I've tried a little on my own. It is labor intensive coming up with topics, and the timing and actually putting it together is something I haven’t had the time for, so I haven’t been able to do it on the regular basis that I want to. And so leveraging myself through you guys is my goal, I want to be consistent, be regular, and just get it done.

John: What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?

Jody: Transaction-wise ,if I can double my transactions to 30, 40 transactions this next year, as well as actually hearing the responses that I hope to hear from people, “Hey, I love your videos,” “I love what you’re putting out,” and “Thank you for that,” etc. I get some of that now and I think the more I hear that and the more I am approached by the people that are seeing what I’m doing, it’s only going to make me feel better that this system is working. It’s letting people know that I am the expert in my area, that I am the go-to person and that it is going to help my solidify my brand in my market.

John: Is there anyone specific we need to be thanking for your business?

Jody: Yes. I would say Jeff Quinton, New Jersey, is where I first heard of you guys. I called a few other of your guys’ clients, Andrew Altman and Mike Mora in San Diego and Phoenix, and both of them have been using you guys and have had good success.
