John McMillan our COO is shooting the weekly marketing episodes going forward and I want to share with you how he recorded his video this week.
First – we wrote the script
Second – he read it line by line into his webcam
Third – we edited the footage together
Fourth – we added images, graphics, and music
And here’s what the video looks like with only a webcam and a Yedi microphone for better sound.
He covers the two headline formulas I shared with you last week. We’re in the works of split testing the emails to see how a question or “pain-avoidance” style headline out-pulls a traditional headline.
If you want your video to be precise in messaging I recommend this strategy. It’s great for sales-oriented videos where you must be very on-point with your delivery.
