Welcome New Client Leslie Gossett
John: Leslie, how did you hear about us?
Leslie: I heard about Vyral through my real estate coach, Lars Hedenborg.
John: Was it just based on Lars’ recommendation that you got ahold of us?
Leslie: It was. Yes.
John: Why don’t you quickly summarize where you are with your business currently and what are your goals moving forward?
Leslie: Production-wise I am in a different market than Lars. I am in Austin, Texas. I did about 24 deals last year and just under $12 million. Just trying to scale the business a little bit, I am in the luxury market and I’m trying further have into that and grow into that.
John: Do you know how many people are currently in your database?
Leslie: My database is kind of a mess.
John: We hear that a lot.
Leslie: Yeah, and I don’t have everybody in there. I would say probably right about 100, but I am adding to that pretty significantly. I have a Boom account and platform and whomever I spoke to originally with at Vyral mentioned that you all have a whole campaign that you can do for these new leads when they register on your website. So, because I have their emails addresses that was very eye-opening that I can start using those people and putting them in my database. If I include them and the app, I’ve got over probably 1000 leads.
John: That’s fantastic. So of the 1000 you would say there’s probably 100 people that you actually know?
Leslie: No, I already have 100 people not including any of my online leads. If you include all of the online leads there probably an additional I would say 50 that I’ve had, talked to multiple times, and had conversations at various points in the home buying process.
John: Are you do anything to market to any of the leads or the people in your database right now?
Leslie: No, nothing for the online leads other than just having them on an e-alert; whatever property comes up.
John: So, why hire Vyral Marketing? Why not try and do this yourself?
Leslie: I just always defer to the experts. I don’t know anything about video marketing. I don’t have time to learn about video marketing and then implement. I’m trying to implement all of these other systems into my business and that’s just one more thing that I don’t have time for.
John: What kind of results are you expecting working with us? What does success working with Vyral Marketing look like to you?
Leslie: Well, according to Lars, I should have an 8-10 times return on my investment, so I know there is a startup period, but I would hope that if I am following your system to a T and doing everything you are telling me to do I would love to see some sort of results. Maybe, and you tell me, maybe this is aggressive, within three to six months have some sort of referral. That’s another goal of mine.
I do these awesome movie night events for my clients and they’re expensive. They are about $1000 - $1200 every time I do them. I do them about four times a year. I’ve never once gotten a referral from them. I just don’t get much referral business. I have awesome customer testimonials on my Zillow. I have great feedback, I just don't get referrals. At the same time, I’m not really asking for them. I do nice things for my clients. I send them gifts and I do these client appreciation nights so that’s another big goal getting referrals. I would hope that within the next 3-6 months I would see some sort of promise or return on my investment.
John: Anybody besides Lars that we should be thanking for your business?
Leslie: No.
