Welcome New Client Francesco Moracci and Marcello Petruzzella

John: How did you guys hear about Vyral Marketing?

Francesco: I heard through Real Geeks, the video with Frank and Jeff Manson.

John: Is that then what motivated you to give us a call or take the call from us?

Francesco: Yes. It's interesting, the concept you have, and I think it could be a benefit for us.

John: Why don't you summarize where you're at with your business. What are your goals going forward?

Marcello: I've been doing this for seventeen years. I became an owner by the sixth year. I quickly got on to the whole buying and selling market also, and also got into finance during the refi boom in 2002 to '06. I come from a family background of builders, so as a real estate office, we are builder friendly when it comes to working with builders and/or people who are looking for new construction, which is a really, really key factor here in Bergen. Where we're headed--we're just about sixty days away from office number two. I would say total employees--about fifty. And in my own mind, I feel like I own the market, but I want to make it official.

John: You guys mentioned this earlier, but you have about 300 people in your database, correct?

Marcello: We have a lot more. Now that Francesco is on board, he's going to be plugging in all our email addresses. When we do open houses, and people put their information down, that becomes part of our database. We just haven't had the focus on that. That's why Francesco is going to be taking over that end of the business.

Francesco: That's where Vyral Marketing comes in to help us, too.

John: So, are you guys doing anything to market to that database right now?

Francesco: A few emails. Nothing that has a system. When there's a new property--

Marcello: Yeah, I buy a lot of auctioned properties, so when I get the property, we'll just shoot a mass email with some pics and pricing. Sometimes we sell it off my database.

John: How is that working for you?

Marcello: It could be better, you know what I mean? I like to pick up the phone and get somebody excited on the other line. But that's why the video comes into play. I think it's really good, because that way they can see the passion.

John: It seems like you guys do a decent amount of videos on your own. Why hire us? Why not keep doing that on your own?

Marcello: Did you see some of our videos? (laughs)

John: I saw one, briefly, so I haven't seen a lot.

Marcello: Okay. Well obviously, you guys are a decent sized outfit, and why not leave it to the professionals? We're not professionals in that, and it seems like you guys have this system down. That's a question that I asked Scott, and I was really impressed with his answer, which was--

Francesco: Sure you can do the videos, you can do the blog, the website, the Facebook, and another hundred things that you do with the program. It became clear that we couldn't do everything.

John: It's a time versus money kind of thing.

Marcello: Of course. We're about to shoot a commerical. We're going on the NFL network. I asked  what's the difference in that, and the difference is obviously me touching my personal database. It's important. It's a referral system.

John: So what does success working with us look like to you? What results are you expecting?

Marcello: I guess success would be that our name is getting out there and people are recognizing us more than they are already.

John: Is there anybody besides the guys at Real Geeks that we need to thank for your business?

Francesco: Not really, we came from there. We started with Jeff and Frank, followed them for a little bit, and then we decided to give you a call.
