Friends,
Would you like to hire someone to help you follow up with leads?
I had a great discussion last Thursday with Vyral Client Greg Harrelson on hiring telemarketing help to make cold calls for lead generation and improving the follow up with the contacts you already have.
Here’s a link to listen to the podcast >

You’ll learn what to look for in a telemarketing hire, how to train them, how to pay them and why you should only hire part-time telemarketing help – never full time. This is a powerful 30-minute interview….
It’s on SoundCloud so you can conveniently listen on your phone or mobile device in your car.
(I apologize for the sound quality – I’ve been on the road and recorded it in a restaurant on my cell phone. Needless to say the people sitting next to meet thought I was crazy).
I share this with you for a few reasons today:
First, the easiest money you have is calling the people who are watching your videos and clicking the links in your emails. The problem, however, is that you’re so busy running your business it does not get done consistently. A part-time telemarketing hire for $10-12 an hour will quickly solve this problem.
Here’s the script:
“Hi, this is Beth calling on behalf of (you). I see you subscribe to our video updates and I’ll be brief. I’m curious to know, do you know anyone – or maybe yourself – that may need to buy what we sell? We send out videos from time to time and our subscribers are our best source of referrals so we can help more people.”
Second, you may not have all the email addresses for your contacts in your database. The only way to get them is to call your contacts, offer them an item of value (like a free video or report) and ask for their email addresses so you can send it their way.
Here’s the script:
“Hi Mr. Smith, my name is Beth calling on behalf of (you) who asked me to give you a call. I have a great report here that reveals _______________________. I’m calling because (you) said it’s important and to send it your way. If I could get your email address, I’ll make sure you get this important information and rest assured you’ll never be spammed.”
Third, one of the fastest ways to get your business up and running is to buy or compile a list of your ideal customers and hire someone to call them to offer information in exchange for their email – not to sell them. For example, if you want the email addresses of all homeowners in an area, have your telemarketer call them up and say this.
Here’s the script:
“Hi, this is Beth calling you on behalf of (you) who is the top ___________ in our area. I’ll be brief. As a public service, we publish a free report on _______________ that reveals important things you need to know about _____________________, specific to residents in _______________. I’ll let you get right back to what you’re doing, but (you) specifically asked me to call you and request your email address so I can send you this timely and important information. You’ll never be spammed and I have nothing to sell. What’s your best email address?”
And of course, when you get their email address, the whole point is to put them on your long-term education-based database nurturing campaign that you’re doing with us. This will warm up your contacts so they eventually call and hire you. (We do all this work for you, but you must get the email addresses). Here’s a 5-minute demo that explains the benefits of Vyral Marketing. >
Greg’s goal by the way is to get 100,000 emails in his database using these strategies. “It’s more effective than a TV station,” he says.
So check out the podcast….and let’s increase the frequency of value-driven communications to your contacts so you grow your business!
Until next week,
Frank Klesitz
P.S. Put your telemarketing assistant on a stand-up desk. Go to Lowes and just get a shelf for $40. It’s all you need. Here’s a shot of the stand-up desk I drilled into my wall over the weekend (notice the mirrors in front of it). Sometimes you just get more calls done at home without distractions. I’ve also included pictures of Vyral Client Jon Carbutti’s stand up desk he just installed as well. Send me pictures of your set-up and I’ll post them here on the blog.

As well make sure that everything you send your subscriber is relevant and of value. If your "unsubscriber" list builds too quickly, that is a sure sign you are doing something wrong, although you will always get some people who unsubscribe.
