She runs her entire office as a high performance real estate sales team (not independent agents doing their own thing), which is unique to the industry.
In 2013 her office sold 130 homes at an average selling price of $132,000, of which 23 deals came from repeat customers and 33 deals by customer referral. Just under half of her business came from people she or her team knows last year.
At 74 years old (you rock!), Glenda wants to sell 168 homes this year.
She has been sending a monthly email newsletter to her 5,000 opt-in email database with a few notifications from time to time about events she holds in the community. “My real estate database of people who truly know me – those who would hire us again or refer us - is really closer to 1,000,” says Glenda.
If that number is true, we can take Glenda from 56 deals from her database in 2013 to 100 deals from her database by this time next year following The Vyral Marketing System, since 10% of the people you know and stay in consistent touch with will refer you or hire you again if you ask them for the business at the right times.
“I’ve wanted to make current and educational videos for my past clients and people I know for a long time,” says Glenda. “I don’t have the staff or know-how to do it, and I want to appeal to a younger and more social media savvy generation to help more people.”
Glenda is very involved in her community where quite a bit of her business comes from school, church, or rotary relationships.
“I have 3 younger rock star agents in my office. I want to give them more people to work with, and doing a better job with staying in touch with the people I know is a cost-effective way to do it,” says Glenda. “My biggest competitor is the largest real estate brokerage in town with over 50 agents and 40-50% market share. That’s a lot when there are only 160 estate agents in our entire MLS! I want to set our brokerage apart.”
Glenda heard about Vyral Marketing though her STAR Power connections and liked what Vyral Client Jean Shine is doing for results. She is also coaching with Vyral Client Lars Hedenborg “to eventually work 1 day a week in her business and let the business run itself so she can focus on growth.”
“Our goal is 168 transactions this year. It’s not getting done, so I need to be doing something I am not. Vyral Marketing is what’s current in the real estate world and I don’t know anyone locally who can do this or who has the track record of success in real estate, so that’s why I signed up!”
