New Berlin real estate agent Mike Roth, a very strong listing agent, has been with Vyral Marketing for well over a year. He has such a strong presence in his market; every time he sends out a video “I get 3 or 4 leads calling me back”, says Mike. He’s on the phone looking for business every day, and after he speaks with a prospect or a past client on the phone, he asks for a new or updated email address (you’ll learn what he says in the interview to get this important email address). Frank: What results have you seen with the Vyral Marketing program so far?

Mike: Every time I send out a blog I get people who call me. These are people on my list that I'm often not following up with as much. For example, that CMA thing you did, I immediately got 3 listings. Off one email. Every time I send out a blog I get at least 3 or 4 leads that call me back. It's just another way to communicate - it's a great alternative to mailing and calling. Some people in this day and age just prefer to be communicated with in this way.

Frank: What were some of your fears and concerns when you hired us?

Mike: I didn't have any fears. I found you guys through other agents that I know that were successful, Mike Ferry agents that were using it and getting results. If I see somebody else making money with it, I'm certainly going to investigate it. I guess I was a little wary - making a video and hoping somebody was going to call me back. I didn't realize the power of the video blog.

Frank: Do you know what your ROI is? Can you track it? 

Mike: I wish I could give you a number. I just know I'm getting more repeat and referral business. I'm getting more people to call me from my prospecting. Jeff Quintuin told me I have to build up my database. So now our goal is to get the email addresses of people we already know and getting more new people and their email addresses.

Frank: How are you getting those email addresses?

Mike: Ask two questions: Do you have access to email, and what is your preferred email address?

Frank: How many addresses do you think you're adding a month?

Mike: I think right now we have around 2,800. You gain some you lose some, but every month we're probably adding 25-50 solid contacts. 

Frank: How much time are you spending on Vyral Marketing? 

Mike: Getting the email address is part of the normal prospecting. Making the videos, I probably spend 1.5 hours every two weeks - probably not even that much. Usually I make 3 or 4 at once, so I guess it's more like 1.5 to 2 hours a month.

Frank: What are some of the topics that have gotten the best responses?

Mike: The market updates. I ask your guys every week about what's new, what's working for other people. I need to get back to doing the house tours, people really love the video house tours. There are a lot of areas we can go to and make it even better. But the key is getting a video out every two weeks.

Frank: Why Vyral Marketing? Why do you stick with us?

Mike: You guys specialize in real estate. I don't know anybody else who does it. I don't have time to investigate doing it myself. And your price is fair.

Frank: Is there anything you would tell someone who is on the fence about hiring us?

Mike: If they have a database they would be a fool not to do it. It's the best money I've ever spent to communicate with my database.
