"The value we get for the money we spend on your services is substantial. We are on the wining end of this deal! You guys make it easy for us. Get off the fence. It's a no-brainer. Even if you guys doubled what you're charging us now, I would still recommend it to people. I would suggest that they give it six months, and see where they're at. If they call me and tell me it's not working by then, I wouldn't believe it."
– Vyral Client Denise Peterson

John: Lately, what results have you seen from the Vyral program, as far as recruiting agents to your team is concerned?
Denise: We did a recruiting video and we sent that video two different ways. For one, we sent it out to our entire database with a note asking if they know anyone that would be a good fit for our team, and to pass on the video to them if they did. We also sent the video to a list of agents in the area that we would like to talk to (it was only a list of about 12 people). One of the agents we sent it to actually gave it to an agent friend of hers, who then contacted us. She is now a member of our team! About a week later, she brought someone she knew after showing that person the video. We've added two agents directly from the campaigns we sent to agents.
For the video that went out to our entire sphere, a lender we sent it to actually shared it with an agent he worked with. That agent will be joining us start February 1. We only sent the video out once to each of those databases and we've already got three great recruits from it. We're planning on sending it out again in about a month to a targeted list of agents.
John: You guys are using Vyral to promote your business to your sphere of influence and past clients, as well as recruiting - are you seeing a return on your investment?
Denise: I don't know that I can quantify what our return on investment is, but I can tell you the value we get for the money we spend on your services is substantial. We are on the wining end of this deal! My weekly calls with Dan are fantastic - he is a great coach, he understands us, and is able to make helpful suggestions. About 95% of our business comes from past clients, it's how we live and breath. The newsletters, videos, and blogs that you send out for us really feel like us. We're at the point now where Vyral is part of our team - Dan is part of our team!
It's really hard to do what you guys do, but you guys make it easy for us. I send Dan questions about anything that pops in my head and he gives me feedback on what will work. I don't think he has ever said there is something you guys can't do for us. When I speak to other agents about Vyral, I tell them I'm not sure what the limit is because we haven't reached it yet. You guys are so responsive to us - whenever we think we have a good grasp of what you guys are giving to us, Dan throws something else in the mix.
Here's a small example: in early December we wanted to do something a bit different. We were going to have an open house at our office and invite our A-list clients to stop by and pick up a pie. We wanted to know whether they were coming, and if they wanted a pie. I knew Vyral could send the message out, but I wasn't sure how to get the RSVPs. You guys created an interactive email for me, an Evite, and got a great response. We didn't know you could do that! It's little things like is why we value our relationship with you tremendously!
John: You guys have been with us for a while – you know how the program works, how we do things. Would you ever try to do this yourself?
Denise: [Laughing] No, no, no – not for a second! My partner Patty and I are not tech people. When we have a question about something, we go ask Dan. We don't even totally understand how you guys do what you do. Even if we were tech people, why would we spend our time doing it? That's not how I make my living. It's not just the technical part, it's the ideas you guys bring! Every week, Dan comes to us with a new idea of something we should think about or even try. Bless his heart, he'll bring it up again and again until we follow through on it. As he knows, it took us a while to really get on board - even now, he has to kick us in the pants every once and awhile. That's an added value right there!
John: What do you like most about working with us?
Denise: For me, as a business owner, the relationship that I have with Dan, the coaching and accountability he gives us, is huge. If I put my real estate agent hat on, the regular contact that our clients are receiving from us is almost effortless for us.
John: What would you say to someone who is on the fence about hiring us?
Denise: Get off the fence. It's a no-brainer. I have no idea whether costs have increased over the years for Vyral, but at the cost we're paying it's more than worth it. Even if you guys doubled what you're charging us now, I would still recommend it to people. I would suggest that they give it six months, and see where they're at. If they call me and tell me it's not working by then, I wouldn't believe it.
John: What tips do you have for people who want to be successful on the Vyral program?
Denise: Listen to what your coach tells you, and do it. Trust that they know what they are talking about and just do it. In the beginning, it was like pulling teeth to get us to do videos. It's still kind of hard to do them, because no one on our team really likes doing videos - we don't want to be in front of the camera. We're emphasizing to the new people the value of video, so they don't have the same aversion we did in the beginning. My suggestion is to just do them and get them out there. You'll see that over a short period of time, your clients will love it. Our clients love it – they feel like we're so in touch with them. We love you guys, we really do!
