Welcome New Client Pete Kuc



John: How did you hear about us? 

Pete: I heard about you guys from Toby Solgado.

John: What motivated you to give us a call, or to take our phone call? 

Pete: I really want to get in touch with my database. They highly recommend you guys as part of my business plan. After talking with Scott, it really sounded like it could really automate my business, and I could pick up some more sales.

John: Summarize where you're at with your business right now. What are your goals moving forward? 

Pete: We're in a transition. We all have developer backgrounds and strong databases. We're shifting over from more of a developer to a general brokerage business. We're building a team of 14 people. We'd like to get to 50 eventually. We have five offices, but we're really only operating out of two, so we want to grow that. We do feel that, between Vyral Marketing and our search engine optimization, that we'll have a big edge not in working our database, but also in getting agents to come work for us.

John: Do you know how many people are in your database right now? 

Pete: We're probably anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000. We have the potential to grow that to 35,000. My partner, who has a Homeowners Association, has 35,000 people that pay her dues every month. With our Vyral Marketing campaign, we need them to opt-in to the real estate side of it. But right now, we probably have 1,500 to 2,000 people active in the database.

John: How many of those people are in your or the team's sphere? 

Pete: It's 1,500 to 2,000. I need to get these people to have a reason to opt-in to the database. I would imagine each one averaged 250, I would say. But right now, they're all mine. My marketing to the database is really working. I have a radio show. We've only had the brokerage part open for about a year, and we're getting a lot of traction already. I'm really excited about having two videos, that I don't even have to think about, go out twice a month.

John: Why hire Vyral Marketing? Why not try do this yourself? 

Pete: Pat Hiban, Toby, and other people using the program highly recommended you guys. They sat me down and said they were getting results. Second, the script writing. I think, as a Realtor, there are so many things thrown at you. There's always the shiny object or the next best thing. I know myself. I can take every course known to man, but if I can't execute it, it means nothing. You guys know what's relevant in the market, what buyers and sellers are looking to hear. I'm a little bit nervous even going in front of the camera, but that I can be helped, coached, and know it's going to go out classy – that's why I hired you guys. We're going to touch our database and get results. I love that we can use the video content for our website or social media. It's a one-stop shop.

John: What does success working with us look like to you? 

Pete:  My vision of my company and my own sales success is being able to market while I'm out with clients. We have all this automated technology, but are we really using it? The fact that I could follow up with people that I've touched once, and I'm going to be in their head – they're going to think of me when they think of real estate. That's just huge, that there could be marketing going on while I'm with my clients.  From a recruiting standpoint to grow my company, I love the fact that it's not just about my own personal business. This will really encourage my salespeople to opt-in and use the database. It will allow us to help them. I think the sphere of influence is ten times better than trying to meet a new person. Love the one's that you're with. That's my theory. I think if we do videos the right way, we'll be relevant. We'll be in front of them, and they will think of us for referrals or for sales. I really am excited about the technology. I do second homes, and a lot of developments. The ability to send these videos allows us to touch our spheres all over the United States. That's really exciting for me.
