How Realtor Darren James Worked His Database to Earn $2.8 Million GCI

John: What results have you been seeing on the Vyral Marketing program, lately or as a whole? You've been a client for a long time. 

Darren: Before this, I didn't have any systems. The difference between success and failure is implementation. I wasn't good at the implementation of keeping up with my past clients, those people who already knew, liked, and trusted me. I hired Vyral Marketing several years ago; I've had unbelievable results with them. The only downfall to the system is that I need to hold myself more accountable for doing what they tell me to do, because I know it works. They make it very easy. They're always prompt. I remember one time they sent an email out to some sellers to get market values, and I had 26 inquiries as a result of that system, and of those 26 I listed two properties. Those two have since gone under contract, and we're looking to close on those in the next thirty days. I can't speak highly enough about the people at Vyral Marketing. Frank, John, Scott, and all the guys over there just do a wonderful job with accountability, keeping everybody informed, and keeping you motivated. John: How do you measure ROI? What kind of ROI can you speak to? 

Darren: Everything within my business is traceable. the website leads, the phone calls. Whenever the client care specialist up front answers the phone, she asks how they heard about our team. I'll ask as well, and they'll say that they received an email from us. So, it's hard to track, because we send so many emails out and we have so many databases. But the one that has been tried and true every single month, consistent and persistent with their messages, consistent and persistent with the value-added content that we're delivering to the clients, has been the Vyral Marketing program. That's the one that I attribute most to it. Our GCI  last year was 2.8 million. I can't attribute it to one source, but I can attribute a lot of that 2.8 million GCI to the Vyral Marketing program.

John: I'm going to ask you to think back a little bit here. Why did you hire Vyral Marketing to begin with? 

Darren: Frank was just starting up the company, and Frank and I had a conversation. I told him that I was having trouble keeping in touch with my database. That's where I struggle in business, even to this day with Vyral Marketing, because it's my responsibility. Me. I hold myself accountable for shooting those videos. If I don't get those videos out, that's not Vyral Marketing's fault. That Darren James's fault. It's very important that I get those videos out to the database. So I talked to Frank about staying in touch with the database. Frank is an unbelievable implementer, and unbelievable motivator. His systems and knowledge of technology, keeping in touch with these databases, database software, and his connections in the industry have allowed Vyral Marketing to grow the real estate business, and grow the customers that Vyral Marketing has. I can't speak highly enough of you guys.

John: Did you have any fears before signing up with us? 

Darren: The way I look at is, there's no expense to marketing as long as you have a positive return on your investment. I looked back at the number of referrals I was getting and thought, I've been doing this for 15 years now. I should be getting more referrals from my sphere. Looking at all the systems out there – the blast email systems, the database systems – I've used just about all of them. For the monthly fee to be paid for Vyral Marketing to be an ancillary part of your business, to be a team member within your business, to hold you accountable for doing your business, and to generate a positive return on your investment – it's a no-brainer. There was absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in hiring you guys. It's one of the best decisions I've made in my business.

John: What would you say to someone who might be on the fence about hiring us? 

Darren: Go watch the Art Williams video on YouTube. It's called, "Just Do It." Take his advice, and just do it.

John: Any tips you can offer someone to be successful working with us? 

Darren: Just hold yourself accountable for shooting the videos and keeping in touch with your database. I could be doing a lot more. A lot of the calls that I get scheduled, there's always something in my business that pops up, and I reschedule the video. So hold yourself accountable. Make it a priority to hold yourself to do those videos to get out to your database, and your business will explode. There's not doubt about it.
