I’m recommending an immediate change to your 2 educational videos a month.

Facebook is pushing video marketing as their next ‘big’ thing and I’m sure you’ve seen how video plays automatically in your Facebook newsfeed as you scroll.

As you know, we animate your logo into a short (ideally under 5 second) animation package to start off each of your videos for the branding benefit.

That’s no longer – I instead want to see you at the start of your videos.

Here’s why…

When people see your video play automatically in their newsfeed, you want them to stop, turn up the sound (which is turned off by default) and watch.

The 1-2 seconds at the beginning of your video is precious attention.

I’ve decided your logo animation at the beginning of the video is not compelling enough. So instead of your logo animation, I want to see your smiling face excited and passionate about what you have to say!

“Hey, this person has something to tell me!” is the reaction we’re going for to get people to stop and play your video on Facebook.

I’ve informed your Success Coach I want you to start every video with your headline and what your audience will learn by watching.

This is called the “hook”.

Your hook is also your email/blog post headline and email teaser. Now these two critical elements are written BEFORE shooting your video, not after.

“This is Frank Klesitz with Vyral Marketing and in this video you’re going to learn….”

Or

“This is Frank with Vyral Marketing and I’m going to answer this question for you today in this video…”

Give me excitement, smile, and hook me with your energy IMMEDIATELY at the start of your video! Tell me what I’m going to learn and why I should watch - right away.

Then, we’ll cut to your animation package, and then back to your video.

Here’s an example of how this would read with the headline and the email teaser built into the immediate “hook”:

“Hi! This is Frank Klesitz with Vyral Marketing in this video you’re going to learn / or I’m going to answer the question “How can I get the best results from my videos?” (cut to logo introduction) So there are 5 things you need to know when shooting videos and it’s common when these things are left out they will hurt your results and possibly damage your brand. In this video I’m going to cover a solution to each one so you get the results you need to grow your business. And remember you can always request a consultation here on our website if you have more questions.…”

(I even brought the pain in that hook, which is even more powerful.)

And here’s an example of how a hook looks at the start of a video – much more powerful than a logo playing….
