John: What results have you seen using the Vyral Marketing program?
John Huebner: I believe it's good for me and my company, because it gets my face out there. We've got over 8,000 agents in our marketplace. Those people get to know a little bit more about me and they get to see the name of my company. I've got an independent company with four locations. It lets people know who I am, where I am, and what I believe in. We have an agent named Rhonda. About a year ago, she gave me a call and asked to meet. She was with another company, she wasn't overly satisfied there, and she had seen the videos, so she felt like she knew me. Shortly after that meeting, she signed up with us. She's consistently doing about two sales a month, and that more than pays for my monthly membership with Vyral. So it's been a good experience.
John: What brought you to hire us in the first place?
John Huebner: At the time, one of my agents, Bryant Day, was using you guys.
John: Did you have any fears before signing up with us?
John Huebner: I still am not really excited about getting on and doing the videos. I'm not the kind of guy who likes to do impromptu videos. But we do it, and it seems to work out pretty well each time. Just because I don't like doing it doesn't mean I shouldn't be doing it. Obviously I should be doing it, because it's working. I had another agent that just came to me last week, and the whole reason he came in to see me was because he had seen my video. He's interested in joining us now. We have definitely seen some success stories.
John: Were you communicating with other agents on a regular basis before using Vyral?
John Huebner: Every now and then I sent out an email blast with a feature or benefit that we have at our company. Frankly, I hadn't been making a lot of phone calls or reaching out to agents. This is a way that I can reach out to a lot of people all at once, and it seems to work.
John: What would you say you like most about working with Vyral?
John Huebner: I would say that the video blog is very professional and very well put together. I make a lot of mistakes in the video, and you guys are able to edit it and make me look presentable on camera. It's all good stuff, and very professionally done.
John: What would you say to someone, maybe another broker, who would be on the fence about hiring us?
John Huebner: There's not another broker in my marketplace who's doing what I'm doing with the videos. Video is the way everybody is going. It's not a question. You've got to do it. You just have to be out there. I think it definitely works, and it definitely pays for itself.
John: What tips would you offer other brokers to be successful using the Vyral Marketing program?
John Huebner: I think what you have to do in order to get people interested in the video blog is give the agents something they can use in their daily business, give them some educational information, and then at the end of the video, talk about your company and meeting with them. People get turned off if you're just trying to do a selling presentation on each video. I don't think people really want to hear about how great your company is all the time. I think you have to get them with the education, and then at the end, let them know that you're out there and available to meet.
