How Realtor Monique Walker Wins with Video When She's "Googled" by Her Prospective Clients
"About 15% of my business has come from internet marketing. When they read my online reviews, they'll Google me and find my vlog. Then they start watching videos! A lot of people are just saying, "Come list my house." When I ask them if they're interviewing any other agents, a lot of them say no. They get a sense of comfort after they watch my videos. Thanks to the videos, they can see the way I operate and how my team operates as well."

John: Have you seen any results using the Vyral program?
Monique: About 15% of my business has come from internet marketing. When they read my online reviews, they'll Google me and find my vlog. Then they start watching videos! A lot of people are just saying, "Come list my house." When I ask them if they're interviewing any other agents, a lot of them say no. They get a sense of comfort after they watch my videos. Thanks to the videos, they can see the way I operate and how my team operates as well.
John: So people are saying, "I'm ready. Come list me." Was that happening before you started using Vyral?
Monique: No. So this is pretty awesome.
John: Why did you hire Vyral Marketing to begin with?
Monique: I wanted a comprehensive, easy way to keep in touch with my past clients and my sphere of influence. Everything seemed complicated, even sending out a newsletter. When you guys came to the Mike Ferry organization and introduced yourselves, I just thought, "It can't be this easy." And then it was! Every person is touched twice a month. It takes me just a few minutes to record the video. The whole process never takes me more than 2 hours a month, and that's when you factor in drive time and conversations to make videos with other partners.
John: Was there ever any thought to trying to do this yourself?
Monique: Yes, but nobody can seem to do the whole process. We could cut cost by removing Vyral, but then who's going to keep me accountable? I have a coach with you guys, and he gives me video topics when I don't have any good ideas. You guys have the whole program from A to Z, and it's awesome.
John: Did you have any fears before signing up with Vyral?
Monique: My biggest fear was whether I would take the time to actually do the videos. It seemed so overwhelming, but now I have six videos that I'm itching to get out. So now I have too much content because it's so easy! It becomes fun. You can get creative and bring in your partners, like loan officers or attorneys. There's such a variety of partnerships that you can cultivate with these videos that I have a waiting list now.
John: What would you say you like most about working with us?
Monique: I keep saying this, but it's so easy! Everything is very turn-key and very easy to work, even the camera. So if I can do it - and I'm not super technologically advanced - I think most people can do it.
John: What would you say to somebody who might be on the fence about hiring us?
Monique: I once heard someone say that if you call every one of your past clients and sphere every month, then you don't need Vyral. But who does that? Even people with smaller databases don't do that. If you care to keep in contact with your clients to a level where you're getting repeat and referral business, and you want to educate your past clients and keep a long term business, it just makes sense. The $500 and change that Vyral costs, you're going to make ten times that just off those videos if you do it consistently and do what your Vyral Coach says.
John: What tips can you offer someone to be successful on the Vyral Marketing program?
Monique: I listen, I read Frank's newsletter, and I watch other people's videos. You can both contribute to other people and keep yourself educated through all the information that Vyral's sending out. Take advantage of all the tools that Vyral has. Make sure that you're always increasing that sphere of influence database. I try to get at least three new emails a day. That's the minimum; my max goal is five. I want to get more people who know who I am, know what I do, and know that they are going to hear back from me.
