We’re half way through the year and now’s a great time to re-evaluate your goals to make sure you’re on track.
Vyral Client Lars Hedenborg keeps a laminated goal sheet with him at all times, which I recorded a video about at a mastermind in Charleston, SC last year (very impressive).
But now down to business….
Here’s how to better position yourself to command higher fees with video blogging.

“These videos are making me more money. Seriously. Before I go on appointments, I make SURE to send them a link to my video blog. I tell them to watch a few videos that answer common questions so I’m prepared to make excellent recommendations. And you know what? They watch them! And when it comes to my commission (fee), it’s virtually a non-issue. This is in TOTAL contrast to showing up to the appointment cold, without any videos going out before, and I get asked to cut my fee. Amazing. Really amazing. This stuff works.”Smiling, I replied…..
“You’re right on Jon, positioning wins over brute salesmanship most of the time. Think about it, how many people call you up every day and ask ‘Who is the decision maker in charge?’ then go right into their pitch? And how many of those do you ignore? And if you did meet with them, wouldn’t you be on guard the entire time, and even try to beat them down on their fee – even if they are 100% legit? You’re sending out something that demonstrates your value and knowledge before you present. That’s positioning! Now with technology it’s just as simple as sending a link to your video blog and telling them to watch a few videos. Here’s a simple tip to quickly and properly position yourself for maximum influence when meeting with anyone for business.
Make sure to send your prospect a link to your educational videos BEFORE you go on a presentation.
This way you can "better focus on their detailed needs and goals."
This will POSITION you as their trusted advisor BEFORE you meet and set you up for a better chance of success.
Here’s your email copy:
“Dear Prospect,Take a look at our website – notice the list of clients, press, products, how it works, our staff, authentic pictures, educational videos, speaking at seminars, demo opt-in, free report opt-in, full contact information, social media accounts, personality-driven copy, etc?
Before we meet, please take 5 minutes to fully review my video blog where I cover the finer details of solving the problem you have. When we meet, I’ll first ask you questions about your needs and goals, and then I’ll outline a strategy that’s perfectly tailored to you. I want everyone to see our website before they meet with me for positioning.
And when you’re a client – we make sure everyone in your database sees yours.
