“I want to sell 150-200 homes in 2015,” says Connie.
With a strong reputation in the community, about half of her business comes from agent referrals and her “MET” database of 338 people – for a total of 39 deals last year generated by her database.
With the 10% rule (meaning at least 10% of your “MET” database will give you 1 deal a year by referral or by repeat transaction if you communicate with them enough), Connie is doing everything right.
"All of this business has come from inbound phone calls – not one prospecting call has been placed since November 14th, 2013", say Connie. Now that’s a strong database!
“I mail 2 newsletters a year, a few postcards around the holidays, and I call my best clients 1-4 times a year”, says Connie. “I’ve also been shooting educational videos to stay in touch with all my contacts regularly in my 'Some Coffee with Connie' real estate video series.”
This year she is building a real estate team to become a “6th level” business by the end of the year, with a goal of taking 30 listings by June or July this year as she increases her marketing efforts.
So why did she hire Vyral Marketing?
“The videos need to be more consistent and I need to better maximize them. I want to take what I’m doing already and ‘plus’ it. It takes me a good 4 hours to come up with the topic, shoot a video, edit it, get it out – it’s too much time”, says Connie.
Before Vyral marketing, it took Connie 8 hours a month to get only 2 videos out to her database.
“My time is worth $150 an hour – doing this myself is too costly”, says Connie.
