A strong listing agent, he worked with 55 sellers and 20 buyers last year – helping a total of 75 people with their transaction - at an average selling price of $500,000.
“My goal is to sell 100-200 homes a year. I have two kids in college and a third on the way!” says Doug.
Doug has a past client list of 1,000 people earned over 25 years of hard work. However, over 700 of those people have moved out of his area, leaving him with a “true” database of 300 people who live in his area who can refer or hire him again.
25 deals came from those 300 people last year.
“I currently do a little but of everything to stay in touch with my database. Regular updates with Market Snapshot for 12 touches, 4 phone calls a year to check in, and a few mailings from time to time”, says Doug.
There are 39 towns in Morris County, New Jersey and Doug specializes in Randolph where he is the #1 real estate agent. Fifty-five of his home sales were in Randolph in 2013.
