Vyral Client Christy Morrison (http://morrisonsellstruckee.blogspot.com/) hired a real estate coach in 2000 to help her grow her residential real estate sales business - following their system perfectly. Before Vyral Marketing she called everyone in her database about 3 times a year and mailed a few holiday cards to stay in touch. But it was not working like it should. “So many times [someone in my database] would list their property with another agent because I didn’t touch them for 3-4 months” says Christy. “My coach says if I have 1,000 people in my database, 10% of them will do business with me again or give me a referral. I built my database to 1,000 people over 14 years, but I was only getting 20 deals a year or so total from 1,000 people. I know I was not doing something right because the 10% rule was not working. Her biggest fear to starting with us was sending “bulk” emails to her friends and past clients, and then they would unsubscribe or not find the value in. We fixed that by asking her questions her customers already ask to make sure there’s a perfect “message to market” match. “It takes about 10 minutes a month to shoot my 2 videos, all said and done 1 hour a month total.” says Christy. Her first video went out to her entire database and she got immediate results. “I saw results right away which is encouraging; my Success Coach Jason gave me topics to talk about. It’s amazing how much you know, Jason just gives me the questions and I answer them – it’s so easy.” Christy still talks to about 100-150 people a week about real estate and asks those people if they would like to stay updated on the local real estate market. She asks everyone for an email address, adding at least 20-30 high quality people a month to her database when then receive her 2 educational videos a month. To save her time when prospecting, we send her the names of all the people who watch her videos and those who click her “Home Value Request” call-to-action links in her emails to contact. “I love calling those people, I call them right when I get the list because it’s really fun [they are the most interested in buying or selling a home]. I get to reengage with people who I have not talked to in a while in my database,” says Christy. “Just keep it simple and think about what people want to know when you make your videos, just go for it – it’s pretty easy!”
