NEW EPISODE: How to Create a One Year Strategic Marketing Plan




When you follow the Vyral Marketing plan to get more sales from your database - by getting emails, shooting videos, and calling the people who watch those videos - how can you guarantee you're going to see results?Well, that's where your one year strategic plan comes in. It's the most important exercise we take every new client through here at Vyral Marketing. We'll reference your plan on every single call and make sure you're achieving what you want to achieve, so you can maximize your success on the Vyral Marketing program.

Here are the three steps to create your one year strategic plan:

Step #1: Set your 1-year goal
First, we're going to ask you where you want to be one year from now. Then we're going to take a step back and determine what success will look like to you, what your business will look like, and what your personal life will look like 12 months from now. For most of our clients, they want to have more consistent business without having to work so hard, so they can have the freedom and autonomy that comes with more stability. It's usually why you got into that business in the first place. We write down what you ultimately want from your business and set that as our target to achieve together.

Step #2: Set your 1-month goal
We're going to simplify your 1-year goal down to what must be accomplished this month to get there. We write out exactly what needs to get done in the next 30 days, so you're 1/12th of the way toward achieving your 1-year goal. Common first-month goals on the Vyral Marketing Plan are adding 60 people to a database, scripting out upcoming video topics, and calling all the people who watch the videos to ask for a referral or repeat sale. Other common goals include hiring an assistant, recruiting sales talent, or getting bookkeeping in order. No matter what it is, we'll write it down!

Step #3: Set your 1-week goal
Lastly, we bring your 1-year goal to the present and figure out what needs to get done this week so you're on track to hit your monthly goal. This can be as simple as setting up your webcam, getting a list together of everyone you know, or taking updated pictures for your video blog. You'll work with your Success Coach to write down what needs to be done each week to reach your monthly goals. We believe it's the question that enlightens - not the answer - so we ask you these powerful accountability questions to make sure your'e on track to building, nurturing, and working your database for more business.

The accountability questions we'll ask you include:
  1. What was your goal?
  2. How did you do?
  3. How do you feel about that?
  4. Based on how you did, what is your goal now and what do you need to do?
  5. Is there anything that might keep you from doing that?
  6. If you needed training or support to do this, what might it be?
We'll be resourceful to help you get the training and support you need even if we can't do it for you at Vyral Marketing.
