| Vyral Client Donnis Palmer |
Donnis: I heard about you from a good friend of mine, Genny Williams. Vyral Marketing was a sponsor for one of her recent events and I thought it might be something that would work for my business.
John: Were there any other motivating factors for giving us a call?
Donnis: Absolutely. We've been searching for a solution to marketing to our current database. We have a strong database, but we've never really marketed to them. Also, since we're expanding into new markets, we feel you guys might provide us some SEO value.
John: Where are you currently at with your business and what are your goals?
Donnis: We're an online real estate school and the last 3 or so years it's been slow. People are finally starting to get back into the industry, so we're ready to go forward and expand our market. We've been exclusively an Alabama company - now we're ready to expand into other states and other industries. We feel like we're poised and ready to do some expansion.
John: How many people are in your database?
Donnis: I'm not sure, I haven't had a good chance to take a look at it. What I do know, anecdotally, is we get a lot of referrals from our database. We haven't really been able to track it, though. We feel like if we do something more purposefully to address our database, it would be very beneficial.
John: Are you currently doing anything to market to your database?
Donnis: No, nothing. All of our business has come strictly from word of mouth.
John: Why did you hire us?
Donnis: I was really impressed with everybody we talked to and really impressed with the processes you have in place. We can tell it's well thought through, exactly how you're going to produce our videos for our video blog and we can tell you have a good process in place and good folks on staff.
John: Have you thought about doing this yourself?
Donnis: We've played with the idea of doing social media marketing, but it's hard to do yourself. I have my day job, which is keeping the company running and adding more products - my time is better spent doing what I do best. I'd rather hire someone to do what I don't do so well, so that's where you guys come in.
John: What results are you expecting? What does success on the program look like to you?
Donnis: An increase in revenues from new students coming on board. We would like to see more referrals from new students, and new revenues from other states!
