Welcome New Client Bruce Baker

John: How did you hear about Vyral Marketing? 

Bruce: I heard about Vyral Marketing from a webinar that was done with Jeff Manson, owner of Real Geeks.

John: Is that what motivated you to give us a call, just that webinar?

Bruce: It did. Well, first I wanted to do some Internet research to see how it would look for my business.

John: Why don't you summarize where you're at with your business, and what are your goals moving forward?

Bruce: I have a couple different businesses. I've had my real estate license for about three and a half years and really haven't done much with it. I set a goal this year to get it going, and I want to get everything off on the right foot. So, I've got Real Geeks doing my website, and you guys doing my Vyral Marketing. I want to put the best foot forward and get this thing launched the right way.

John: Do you know how many people are in your database?

Bruce: I have a little under 800.

John: Are those all people that you truly know?

Bruce: I would say the majority of them are people that I know, or have been in contact with through one of my other businesses.

John: Are you doing anything to market to these people currently?

Bruce: No.

John: Did you ever think about trying to do video blogging or email marketing yourself?

Bruce: I've done a little bit of email marketing through MailChimp. I've done a couple things over the last few years, and haven't had much success with it. I really don't know what I'm doing in that arena. Videos I've stayed away from, because I don't like to sit in front of the camera. It will be fine if they're edited right, and I have someone helping me through the first couple of them. I'm sure I can get the hang of it.

John: What kind of results are you expecting working with us? What does success look like to you?

Bruce: Well, success to me would be some sales this year. As far as how many, I have some pretty lofty goals. I'd like to get twenty-five deals this year. I think it's doable, especially in my market, but I've really got to get moving on it.

John: Anybody besides Real Geeks that we need to thank for your business?

Bruce: No, I think Jeff Manson's the main one. I had looked at him a few years ago and never did anything, and then I started looking at websites again and happened to catch the Hangout he has with Frank. Monica Diaz, I saw some of the stuff she was doing and I thought that seemed like a good direction to go. I want to get the snowball going so it's building as it continues to go down the hill.
