Welcome New Client Chris Norscross
John: How did you hear about Vyral Marketing?
Chris: Two ways: Real Geeks with Jeff (Manson), and also through Lars (Hedenborg).
John: What motivated you to get in touch with us or to take our call?
Chris: Just talking with Lars and seeing his success. He says it's a no-brainer.
John: Summarize where you're at with your business. What are your goals going forward?
Chris: I have a team of six. We're all full time agents. We don't have an admin, and then we're listed agents. Last year we did about 15 million dollars. We've been in the business since 2003, and our average sales are around $900,000. I'd like to have a powerful team. My goals are that we all have quality of life and we all make a lot of money. I'd like to have quality of life, I'd like to enjoy what I do, and deliver to my clients. I believe in the philosophy of hiring specialists to do what they do best, so that I can go sell real estate.
John: How many people are currently in your database?
Chris: I have twelve hundred in my database. I've got about 500 clients. We sell about 50 homes in a year, and I've been in business for fourteen years. Couple thousand, I think.
John: Are you doing anything to market to those people right now?
Chris: Yeah, I subscribe to the ABC with Customers, the Mike Ferry Coaching. So, we call people once a month and use Happy Grasshopper to email once a month. I call my sphere of influence every month. We do send out cards to people. I do direct mail, send out just sold and just listed cards. Thanksgiving, we give out gifts and we send out Valentine's cards. That's pretty much it.
John: How's that all working for you?
Chris: It's been great. You know, I can always do better. I feel like this is a way for them to visually see me, and feel like they see me a lot, without them actually seeing me.
John: Why not try video blogging and email marketing yourself?
Chris: I don't have the time to do it. I don't have the time to figure it out. I'd rather work with somebody that "tells me what to do," and helps me, and then packages it, rather than for me to spend all my time trying to figure out how to do it. Hiring you guys is going to be a shortcut to making it happen.
John: What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?
Chris: I'd probably like to start getting more business from my sphere and my database than I'm getting.
John: How much more business? Do you have a number in mind?
Chris: I don't really have a number. I know this year I want to do 60 million dollars in business, and that's a big jump. I think if I can double what I'm getting from my sphere now.
