Welcome New Client Matt Smith

John: How did you hear about us?

Matt: I originally heard about Vyral a couple years ago, after I adopted InfusionSoft as a CRM for my business. I wanted to learn how to leverage technology better, and I learned that people who I had been in mastermind groups jumped on board, including Mike Roth, Jen Neiderbrach, and Lisa Treu. I’ve enjoyed the calls, and I decided to hire somebody to take over in the areas I’m not so efficient in.

John: What motivated you to take a call from us?

Matt: Having a track record was important. I didn’t want to pay somebody to learn it and then teach me. It’s important they already know it.

John: Summarize where you are at with your business. What are your goals for the next year, 5 years?

Matt: I’ve been in the business 20 years and I used to have a big team with a lot of players and a big gross income, but not a great net income. I decided to go down to the brass bones, use technology and use people the right way to help us be a business. Rather than having everything revolve around me, I want it to revolve around the right vendors and relationships that allow us to get better at what we’re doing.

John: Do you know how many people are in your database?

Matt: I’ve got easily a couple thousand in my internet lead database of the last couple years. Most of my business in the past has been “right now” business, and that’s another reason why I’m adopting your company, to get better with my sphere and past clients. I’ve got a low referral business at this point, because I haven’t really marketed at all in the past. I’m ready to build a better database and actually market myself and my business.

John: You’ve been following us for a couple years. Why hire us, why not just do this yourself?

Matt: I can’t begin to know what you all know. I’m sure I could understand it and do it, but with a wife and two kids, I’m constantly doing a lot of other things. The stopping and starting does not create a great consistency to get all those things done.

John: What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?

Matt: I envision what we are doing as a production, another arm of communication with my database, yet I think it would make me that much more excited to market to my sphere and past clients. Something constant and educational makes sense to me. From that standpoint, I believe in the content and I am excited to send it out. Now I can push digestible information, using technology, to create expert status, and that’s what I am looking for.
