Welcome New Client Mark Gellman

John: How did you hear about Vyral Marketing?

Mark: I met with Frank four years ago. I wasn't ready then. I vetted you out with additional heavy-hitters in real estate that validated who you are now.

John: Okay. So, was it your own research that motivated you to get in touch with us?

Mark: Yes.

John: Summarize where you're at with your business. What are your goals moving forward?

Mark: In 2014, we sold $82.5 million, 246 homes. This year, we'll do 110 to 115 million, and sell over 375 homes. We have strong systems in place, and we're at a point now where our organization's ready to implement video. We know the importance of video, and we're ready to handle the commitment of this.

John: Do you know how many people are in your database?

Mark: We have a combination of TigerLeads, BoomTown, and Top Producer – I believe all of those combined would be about 8,000 or so.

John: How many of those people would you truly know?

Mark: I would say 1,500 to 2,000.

John: Are you doing anything to market to your databases now?

Mark: We have a past client touch program with postcards, birthday cards, and anniversary cards. We send out a monthly postcard. We use Market Watch for our seller follow up. We have ISAs. We don't do a great job, but they know we're out there because we do a lot of advertising, but we're not doing anything directly by email. We've never touched them on a consistent basis via email.

John: Why hire us? Why not try to do this yourself?

Mark: I think that the combination of the two-times a month, the aggregation of the emails, and the facilitation of the process are good for my purposes. The future of video is critical, I need to be there, and I feel like you guys are a great outlet. Why recreate the wheel?

John:  What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?

Mark: In this case, I'm going to judge success by looking back on the year and see that we've distributed multiple videos, we're having interactions with our email database, and building consistency. I know that direct ROI will happen, but the main thing is building consistency. I wasn't ready four years ago, but now I am, because I'm ready to do this consistently. I'm going to evaluate success on quantity of videos distributed, what our blog looks like, and feedback from clients.
