John: How did you hear about Vyral Marketing?
Josh: In a coaching course through Keller Williams. Tim Heyl recommended you guys.
John: Was it just Tim's recommendation that motivated you to get in touch with us?
Josh: When he recommended you guys, I had a need for a better touch system. I was working through postcards, writing my emails, and trying to find some way to get to those 33 touches per year. It was cutting into my other business. I didn't have time to lay out a 33 touch program without completely focusing on that. So I started looking for a different option, and when he mentioned it, it seemed like a perfect fit.
John: Summarize where you're at with your business. What are your goals going forward?
Josh: This year, our goal is to do 36 deals. We would love to do more. From June of last year to June of this year, right now we're on pace to do about 32. That would translate over to about 125,000 or 130,000 GCI. From our met database of about 114, we got about 14 deals from that. We're wanting to increase our met conversion to about 30% of our closed transactions. We would like to have a method to get more of our suspect and cold leads into appointments through a drip campaign and the educational videos.
John: Do you know how many people are currently in your database?
Josh: We have 114 met. Those are not just handshakes. We actually have a relationship with those 114 people. Then we have 850 haven't met, and that's not counting Facebook. We should have another 600 or 700 from Facebook.
John: Okay, so we'd be looking at about 1,500 to 1,600. Are you doing anything to market to those people now?
Josh: Yes. We're sending 800 people an email through Happy Grasshopper about once a month. We send postcards, gifts, things like that to the 114 met in order to stay top of mind. We're not consistent, and as the business grows, we don't have a system to grow with the business. So we are marketing to them, but it's not scale-able. We need something put in place that will be able to grow with our business.
John: Why hire Vyral Marketing? Why not try to do this yourself?
Josh: Creating one good video is one thing, but systematically getting those videos out to all the database – it would take a lot of hours for me to do that. I could use that same time to make enough money to pay you guys to do it, and it would turn out better than if I got it out myself. Plus, the time it would take for me to do it would end up costing me more money. I definitely want high quality, and I think I would have a better shot at higher quality with you guys.
John: What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?
Josh: I know that on the website, it mentions getting a 10x return. That would be great. That would be ideal. My expectations are at least 3 to 5x return, because it's freeing up some time for me. Just from income, I would like to bring in eight to ten additional deals a year. That would be phenomenal, in my estimation.
