New Client Welcome Delia McCormick

Delia has been a Realtor since 1995. She is licensed in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia, and prides herself on putting her client's needs first and providing outstanding service. She made the switch to Washington Fine Properties after 5 years with Evers and Co. Real Estate and 14 years with Long and Foster, in order to ensure that her clients have the best possible results. Delia has been a Top Producer for many years, and has earned an unbroken series of annual awards from the Greater Capitol Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) and her previous and current brokers, placing her in the top 1% of agents nationwide. Paul: How did you hear about us?

Delia: We are coached by Mike Ferry, and have been aware that other agents coaching with him have used you. I get some of their videos and wasn't really willing to do it until recently when I met an agent that strongly recommended doing this. She convinced me. Kelly Fischer, I just met her at an event, and she said we really ought to do this.

Paul: Can you summarize where you are at with your business? What are your business goals?

Delia: Our goals are to sell 50 listings this year. James works with us as part of the team, but we will refer buyers and he will pick up some of his own buyer business. James will probably do another 20 listings. James will also work with us to bring in listings. James is our son and has been working with us for 6 years, so it's sort of a hybrid of him being his own guy and being on our team. 50 listings sold for John and me and 20 buyers for James.

Paul: You mentioned something about some marketing you are doing to your database. What are you doing with that now?

Delia: We send out mail postcards four times a year to our sphere, and holiday gifts. We have a system that emails people stuff, so we've been writing up reports. We are trying to do that monthly, but is' been a bit erratic. We also send out an automated Facebook ad on our just listed properties. We're going to take a break from that and give you guys a go.

Paul: What results do you expect with us?

Delia: I saw one agent said they get one listing a month from you. I would be happy with that. Our goal is to get more connected with our sphere to add value and show we are experts in our market. I think that's the goal. It's a very competitive market here. We would like to increase our visibility and profile in this market. We're not getting the kind of business from our sphere that we should be getting.
