New Client Welcome Sandie Hea
Sandie has been a St. Louis Realtor® for over 25 years. Paul: How did you hear about us?
Sandi: I went back through my emails and found a bunch of Vyral Marketing emails from Real Geeks. I'm pretty sure that's how I heard. Every once in a while, I would open up the information every once in a while. I decided about two weeks ago to watch a bunch of Vyral Marketing videos. I ended up coming across Lars Hedenborg, signed up with him, and I knew he used you so that was good enough for me, and that's how. There's also an agent in my marketplace I ran into about 4 months ago and I noticed she was doing it too. It piqued my interest.
Paul: Summarize where you're at with your business right now.
Sandi: I've been doing this for 29 years and I still do not have a business that I can exit from, which is really sad and disappointing for me. At the height of my career, I was selling between 60-70 houses a year either by myself or with one other buyer agent. Now, I only have a part-time team member, and I'm in the process of hiring a full-time assistant. I do about 40 transactions a year by myself, and about 80% of that is referral business.
Paul: Do you know how many people are in your database?
Sandi: 1,600.
Paul: How many of those people do your truly know?
Sandi: 500.
Paul: Are you doing anything to market to your database right now?
Sandi: No, but the last couple years I've been sending out postcards monthly. But that's it.
Paul: Why did you hire us?
Sandi: Because you're awesome, and I'm not afraid of video. I think video is powerful, and I think I have a lot to say. Everybody wants to know how to do something. I am very learning-based and I think this is a better way to reach people and to get it to spread through sharing these videos. I want them to be powerful, articulate, and very beautifully produced, and I'm hoping you are going to grow my business in leaps and bounds over the next 24 months.
Paul: Why not do this yourself?
Sandi: Oh my gosh, no way. There was a KW agent from Austin you guys interviewed and he said he tried to do it for a year, and finally said forget it. If a guy like that with a huge team says no way, why would I even attempt it. Number one, I don't even know how to do it. If I did, I would be doing it now.
Paul: What results do you expect from us?
Sandi: I expect my phone is going to start ringing, my emails are going to have a lot more come-list-me calls. I expect that instead of doing 40 transactions, I would be happy if I did 75-80 transactions this year. Then the following year, all I want to do is pick up my price point and then hire a buyer's agent and admin to grow my business.
Paul: What does success look like to you?
Sandi: That I have made a sizable profit, I have time off, and being able to maintain that. Success to me is being able to sow into the people who are around me, giving them an opportunity to be successful in real estate. Being able to give away more money to the charities I enjoy supporting. Having the freedom that comes with running a business and not just having a JOB.
Paul: Is there anyone we can personally thank for your business?
Sandi: No, not really. I couldn't point to one person, no.
