New Client Welcome Bo Winn


John B. (Bo) Winn is a  20+ year real estate investment veteran in the Triangle area. He specializes in investment residential real estate, helping his clients find and enhance value on their assets. Bo has a unique perspective in business operations, having grown a start-up real estate firm to include several agents and property managers. He has proven successful experience in marketing and property management. Bo enjoys tennis and is active with the American Red Cross. Bo is a CCIM designee and enjoys a good single malt scotch! Reece: How did you hear about us?

Bo: Hoss Pratt.

Reece: What motivated you to call us?

Bo: His recommendation.

Reece: What are your business goals?

Bo: I’d like to do somewhere between 45-75 listings and 35-45 closings. I’d like to have 10-15 strong investors, and I do anticipate a mix of residential investment and commercial investment.

Reece: How many people are currently in your database?

Bo: I have 1,495 contacts.

Reece: Out of those, how many people do you truly know?

Bo: That’s a good question. I would say about a thousand. My sphere of influence is over 300.

Reece: What are you doing to market with them now?

Bo: Emails, texts, sometimes I send out some cards.

Reece: How is that working?

Bo: I get some response from it. I tend to make 3-4 hours of phone calls Monday-Thursday. It’s hard for me to say. I have a few investors that really do most of my business.

Reece: Is there anything not working well for you?

Bo: I don’t really do much marketing. That’s really the issue. I’m not a marketing guru.

Reece: What results do you expect?

Bo: To at least break even. If I get 6 deals out of 1 year, I pay for everything and make a profit.

Reece: What does success look like to you?

Bo: This year, it would be getting to the 45-75 listings and closing 35-45 major deals. That and maybe picking up 10 new investors would be good too.
