Welcome New Client Max Folkers

Vyral Client Max Folkers
John: How did you hear about Vyral Marketing?

Max: I was on a webinar with Adam Sobieski and Frank. I then had a meeting with Carlos Gutierrez and he had some very good things to say about you guys.

John: Summarize where you're at right now with your business.

Max: I've had my license since 2004, but was only working real estate part time until 2008. I bought a RE/MAX franchise at that point in Mission Valley. We did about 42 deals that year and this year we're on pace to do about 45.

In the last year or so, we've added some assistants, buyer's agents, and an inside sales person to really ramp up our business. Our goal is to do 75 deals next year.

John: Do you have any other specific goals for your business in terms of growth?

Max: I would like to add another buyer's agent. We've started a couple new lead generation systems that are starting to be pretty productive, so we're hoping to shift some of the load to those agents. That way I can focus more on the listings.

John: How many people are in your database?

Max: I would say we have roughly 1,500 in TopProducer. I have over 4,000 contacts in my phone.

John: How many of those people do you truly know?

Max: I've got 250 past clients and probably another 400-500 people I've met either through the volleyball tournaments I put on or friends.

John: Have you done anything to market to your database?

Max: It's been a while since I've really done anything to reach them. I use to do the buyer referral only Letters From the Heart and I would get a pretty good response from those. I have a constant contact eNewsletter that is supposed to go out every month, but hasn't gone out in three months. That's about the only contact I make with my database.

John: Why did you end up hiring us?

Max: I'm getting to the point where I have a lot of great ideas coming in, but not a lot of them are getting executed. Being able to leverage other people to take care of things is what I'm looking for. I know that I'll ultimately get in the way of getting things done if I don't get outside help; I get busy and start prioritizing different things. I need a game plan and someone to hold me to that - I need accountability. It sounds like you guys will make it easy to get videos out without too much of a time commitment from me. I want a unification of my brand through social media and real estate sites, and I think you guys will be able to do that for me.

John: What does success with Vyral Marketing look like to you?

Max: I'm trying to get better at tracking our results. From our different lead sources I would like to know the number of leads that are coming in and the number of transactions that result. Right now about 40% of my business is from past clients and referrals and I want to grow that by staying top of mind. I would also like for them to view me as an expert.
