Welcome New Client John Teixeira
John: So John, how did you hear about Vyral Marketing?
John Teixeira: I started getting the Real Geek Hangouts.
John: Great. So what motivated you to take the call from us, or to give us a call?
John Teixeira: This video thing has been at the top of my goal list every single year for three years, and I haven't been able to get any system going. I had this idea of creating a video library. In Vegas, I went to your guys' penthouse party, and I learned a little bit more about it there from Jeff Manson. Then, I spent a lot of time with one of your clients in Vegas, and he was telling me about what you do. So between all that, I decided that you guys were worth trying.
John: Where are you at with your business right now? What are your goals moving forward?
John Teixeira: Well, it's me and Kyle right now. I did 195 GCI last year. I'm looking to double that this year, and add people to my team. We'll probably add one more support staff before the end of the year.
John: Do you know how many people are currently in your database?
John Teixeira: Would you say about 3,000, Kyle?
Kyle: Yes, about 3,000.
John: How many of those people do you truly know?
John Teixeira: I have no idea. I know a lot of people, but I don't know.
John: Are you doing anything to market to the database currently?
John Teixeira: Just the canned monthly newsletter. Re/Max newsletter.
John: And is that giving you any results?
John Teixeira: Yeah. I mean, it's not bringing dollars in the door or anything. It keeps me top of mind. Most importantly, what I use that for is putting everybody that I run into in my database. For instance, I play softball with a whole league of people at church. I don't know most of those people, put every single one of their email addresses goes into my database, and they know that I do real estate. I don' t need to tell them when I'm playing softball with them. The reason I do it is because I'm involved in a lot of different groups and different networks, and I don't have to be the weird sales guy reminding everybody that I do real estate all the time. I just walk in with my Re/Max shirt, or they get my monthly newsletter.
John: Why hire Vyral Marketing? Why not just try to do email marketing and video blogs yourself?
John Teixeira: More than anything, accountability and a proven system. I've tried to do it myself, and I just need the accountability to do it.
John: What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?
John Teixeira: I expect my 400,000 goal to move to 800,000 by the launch of this thing.
John: In 30 days?!
John Teixeira: I'm sorry. I have a sense of humor, John.
John: No, I love it.
John Teixeira: I've also started a cart campaign here. It's at a local Kroger, and I'm trying to stick with my geographic farming in my neighborhood. I'm trying to stick with focusing on those three things, and not get cluttered with all the other types of marketing out there. I want to focus on what I'm doing, and I want video to be one of them. I expect it to increase my production, obviously, and I expect it to be like adding a staff member to my team. That's one of the reasons why I spent the money. As I told you, I'm already thinking about adding staff members. This is one of the reasons why, because I have a lot of projects and stuff that I want to do but don't have time for, and I just hired you with this.
