Welcome New Client Rich Lohman
John: How did you hear about Vyral Marketing?
Rich: I was referred by somebody local to me here in Michigan.
John: What motivated you to give us a call or take our call?
Rich: After studying the site and knowing the real estate industry I do – I've worked with real estate clients here in Michigan – I saw that it definitely is a missing link to a lot of people, including myself. That link is the consistency of the marketing process.
John: Summarize where you're at with your business right now. What are your goals going forward?
Rich: Right now, I have ten one-on-one coaching clients. There are spokes to my business. There's one-on-one and/or group coaching and mastermind groups. Mastermind groups are large-scale, online, and face-to-face groups that are focused on eight weeks intervals of both personal and professional growth. People come with an open mind to overcome challenges that they have with soft skills or hard skills, and I give them the tools to be able to grow, develop, and achieve the results that they want. The third spoke is the speaking portion. I go to companies and facilitate my own speaking events so that we can start people on a growth process.
John: How many people would you say are in your database right now?
Rich: Probably in the neighborhood of 1,500 to 2,000.
John: And how many of those people do you truly know?
Rich: That's a funny question. I get a lot of people that walk up to me all the time when I'm in public, and they say, "Hey, you're Rich Lohman!"
John: Or people that know you. We would count that, too.
Rich: Right. So it's hard for me to say, because when I go speaking, I'm in a room with 200 to 300 people. The people that come up to you and make an impact by saying, "Thank you, that was awesome," are the ones that you connect with. The ones that you don't connect with still know you. I would say in that database, it's probably in the realm of 500 to 700 people that I truly know, but don't do a job connecting with. Hence the reason why I'm signing up for Vyral Marketing.
John: Are you doing anything to market to the database now?
Rich: Not currently.
John: So why hire us? Why not try to do this yourself?
Rich: When I started studying it, I questioned myself, "Can't I do this?" The reality is, it's just like what I challenge other people to do. We all aspire to some level of greater success than what we have. Successful people find ways to delegate, automate, or outsource. I want to be spending my time with people, not behind the scenes doing the necessary work to put myself in front of people. I recognized that it's the right piece of the puzzle to partner with you guys, and have you help with this process. Then I can just be on the phone, face-to-face, or speaking in front of large groups without having to worry about not doing something.
John: What results are you expecting? What does success working with us look like to you?
Rich: I want to truly to be able to measure that I am coaching more people. I want to have more mastermind groups going. I want to be getting more speaking events through reaching out to the database more consistently. If I were to monetize it, I would love to be running more group coaching sessions. I do have a methodology that is group-oriented toward helping people get unstuck. I would love to say that I have one group session every eight weeks. And the mastermind groups, those are not coaching or networking; they're truly a form of group facilitation of growth. Through you all, I would like to be more consistent on running those every eight weeks. I run up to five mastermind groups at any one time. So, being able to measure it because I'm more readily filling those groups, which are ten person groups. The group coaching is up to 20 people at one time, so reaching more people than I am right now. Measuring that it's in the hundreds, and not the tens range.
