How Realtor Tad Wicker Converts Unresponsive Leads to Closings with Video Marketing

"I haven't run the hard numbers yet, but there's no doubt that we're getting as much or more ROI than we ever imagined. We felt that Vyral would be a game changer from the beginning, and that's been proven right. I would be very surprised if we weren't running at least a 10x ROI."

- Vyral Client Tad Wicker

John: What results have you seen on the Vyral Marketing program?

Tad: People who we've been unable to connect with for years are suddenly following our videos and reaching out to us to buy or sell a property. We've had at least three or four like that in the space of a couple months. We also had an agent in a neighboring town who was going out of the country for her 70th birthday. She reached out to Debbie out of the blue and asked Debbie to take over her listing. The videos are where we have the most engagement with people. In this case, we had no engagement with that person prior to the videos.

John: I know it's early, but so far you've seen a little bit of ROI, right?

Tad: Absolutely. I haven't run the hard numbers yet, but there's no doubt that we're getting as much or more ROI than we ever imagined. We felt that Vyral would be a game changer from the beginning, and that's been proven right. I would be very surprised if we weren't running at least a 10x ROI.

John: Great. Any other specific stories that you can link back to Vyral Marketing?

Tad: There's a contractor of ours that we've used for years. Out of nowhere, he called and said he wanted to buy a rental property. I thought that was strange, because he'd never talked to me about that kind of thing at all. Then I took a look at the opens and clicks reports, and sure enough, they were watching all of our videos. There's another one who's a client who we've had zero connections. We sold a house for them years ago,  and they called Debbie up out of the blue and asked for help selling their townhouse. It was a short sale, and they'd been watching the videos, and they wanted us to help them. We're converting people and getting repeat business that we wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

John: Why did you hire Vyral Marketing to begin with?

Tad: We felt that we needed to have better contact with our past clients and center of influence. We realized that was a weakness in our business. We also realized that video is where everything is going, and we needed to have more, quality videos out there. We needed someone to hold our hand and help us to get it done. If it was up to us, it would always fall to the back of the list. Knowing that you have a call every month to produce two videos and that somebody will do all the back-end work, that was just huge. It was what we needed to push videos out. With the opens and clicks report and the way you guys operate, it was a no-brainer.

John: Were there any fears before signing up with us?

Tad: Very early on, we both felt that it was the right move. We know Kyle Whissel, and I had heard his story. That's what convinced me that this was something we needed to do. My wife and I were both convinced. There weren't any big fears.

John: What would you say you like most about working with Vyral Marketing?

Tad: One of the things I like best is that you set meetings with us both to brainstorm video topic ideas, and then make hard deadlines to actually shoot the videos. If it was up to us, we would mean well but not get it done. Having those predictable times every month keeps us on track. You get into a groove, and you get better at being in front of the camera. Pretty soon, you're pushing stuff out and getting business in. It's a great deal.

John: Any tips you would offer someone to be successful working with us?

Tad: I would say plan ahead what you're going to talk about, instead of just winging it. Come up with at least two good ideas and make some bullet points for each one. Try to be clear and succinct in spelling those out for people. Don't try to say too much. Make what you say substantial. Be genuine on camera. My wife really is, and the feedback we get is fantastic. So plan in advance, be genuine, and go for it!
