Elizabeth: How did you hear about us and what motivated you to contact us?
Jesse: I've actually known and heard about you guys for years. We've explored going with you guys in the past and didn't based on the director of our marketing at that time. He felt he had better options. Anyway, a lot of my friends and top agents in my mastermind group utilize your services. We are just at a point in our business where we've got to get a video up and going. I like the content and the way you guys disperse it out to the databases and track it and incorporate all the social sites as part of the contact list. Basically, a lot of the reason we're doing it is for the automation of it. Having you guys involved is going to force us to do the activity of getting the video out.
Elizabeth: Okay great. What are your business goals?
Jesse: I've been in business since 1998, this is the 18th year. Where we're at in our business is we've had a phenomenal sphere of influence, database-driven business before the bust. When the bust came in our market, Phoenix got hit very hard. It was a very distressed market, so we became one of the top REO and short sale agents and teams in the nation. Through all that, coming out the other side of it, our database hasn't been communicated to as well as I'd like to have seen it. Our goal is to reconnect with the ones we've lost contact with and to continue to deliver a high level of service and valuable information that they can utilize on a monthly basis. Then when it's time for them to buy or sell, or if they have family and friends who want to buy or sell, we're top of mind and they refer us. We're looking to be at $100 million in production by the end of 2017, $60 million this year, and then on from there. This is part of delivering the ultimate client experience. this is just another piece of that, where they have valuable, hyper-local real estate information.
Elizabeth: Great. How many people are in your database right now, and of those, how many do you truly know?
Jesse: We just did a major scrubbing, so we've got approximately 6,000. How many of those are met? I would say probably 2,000.
Elizabeth: Okay. So what are you doing now to market to the database? Do you feel that it's working well, or it's not working well enough?
Jesse: We have email campaigns that go to them once monthly, and we have a direct mail that goes out to them. Not to the entire database. The direct mail goes to 2,200. We haven't been mailing out of state. We rely more on email and phone for that, rather than direct mailing 6,000 people.
Elizabeth: Okay. That's a good start. Why did you decide to hire us? Why not do this yourself?
Jesse: I've had people tell me that we can do it ourselves for about three to five years now, and we're still in the same spot we were three to five years ago. So we hired you to get it done. You guys have the expertise in it. I don't want to be a video expert, as far as figuring out all the ins and outs of it, what's going to work and what's not. It makes my life easier to have a coach and an expert in that specific area to help us build our business and lets me focus on the areas I need to focus on.
Elizabeth: That's great. What results do you expect with Vyral? What exactly does success look like for you?
Jesse: Well, I expect you to double my business in 30 days, that's a realistic expectation, right? What results do I expect from Vyral? I expect a couple things. First of all, I think with the open reports and bounce reports, I think it's going to help us continue to cleanse our database. Kind of the opposite side of getting your message to somebody is figuring out who not to waste your time with. The second thing is obviously connecting again with the clients who want to hear from us and attracting people to us who haven't heard of us previously through the different YouTube channels and social media. My expectation is a 30% increase year-over-year by adding Vyral.
Elizabeth: Great. Can you explain what your personality type is and how you prefer to be communicated with best? Emails or phone?
Jesse: I'm kind of a combination of phone, text, and email. I really am. It depends on what it is.
Elizabeth: Okay. One more question: is there anyone who we should thank for your business?Anybody introduce you to Vyral or gave you the final push to sign up with us?
Jesse: Not really. You could say Brett Tanner, but I have multiple friends who use you guys.
